Zendaya said she intends to stray from the public eye "for just a little bit" after she debuts four new movies and the long-awaited third season of Euphoria in 2026
Upcoming theatrical releases between now and December include The Drama, The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Dune: Part Three
The Drama hits theaters April 3; Euphoria returns to HBO on April 12
Zendaya has an unusually busy schedule set for the rest of this year, and after it's over she's promising to take a break.
On Thursday, March 26, during an interview with her The Drama costar, Robert Pattinson, and the rest of the movie's cast for Fandango, Zendaya, 29, said that she intends to take something of a breather from her acting career after her HBO series Euphoria returns in April and she debuts three additional movies between now and December.
"I guess, you know, I just hope people don't get sick of me," Zendaya said, with a laugh, when asked if she had any thoughts to share about the number of movie and television projects she's starring in this year. "I really appreciate everyone who supports any of the movies or who supports my career in any kind of way. I'm deeply appreciative, and like I said, I just hope you guys don't get sick of me this year because I'll tell you what: after this, I'm disappearing for a little bit. I'm going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit."
Zendaya and Pattinson, 39, kick off the year together by playing a soon-to-be-married couple whose relationship is tested in The Drama, which hits theaters Friday, April 3. Coincidentally, both actors will also appear in director Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic, The Odyssey, which debuts July 17, and in Dune: Part Three, scheduled for release on Dec. 18.

The actress will also reprise her lead role as Rue on Euphoria, when the HBO teen drama returns to television for its long-awaited third season on April 12. A few months later, on July 31, she will also appear on the big screen opposite her real-life fiancé, Tom Holland, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the couple's fourth Spider-Man movie together.
In The Odyssey, Zendaya will portray Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare, according to Empire magazine. Holland, 29, costars in the movie as Telemachus, son to Matt Damon's Odysseus, while Pattinson portrays Antinous, one of the characters who vies for Penelope's (Anne Hathaway) hand in marriage during Odysseus' decades-long journey away from home.

Zendaya plays Chani, a Fremen warrior and love interest to Timothée Chalamet's lead character Paul Atreides in the Dune movies. Pattinson will appear in Dune: Part Three, based on author Frank Herbert's 1969 novel Dune Messiah, as the antagonist Scytale.

"I think she's just so consistent in her professionalism with people, just so lovely to every single person — the crew, everyone." Pattinson recently told PEOPLE of Zendaya at The Drama's premiere on March 17.
He added, "Even when we're shooting in Boston on the street, everybody who comes by, she says hi, to saying hi to everyone. "It's unbelievable while still being so prepared and so into the job. I think it'd be really difficult to find someone who says a bad word about it."
The Drama, the first of Zendaya's new projects this year, hits theaters April 3.
