What are TSA wait times in the DC area today?
A prolonged Department of Homeland Security shutdown has caused TSA delays at many airports throughout the US, including in the Washington DC area, where one airport experienced hours-long waits before improving Monday.
Improvements come days after President Donald Trump announced TSA workers, who have been without paychecks for weeks, would begin getting paid again.
Here's what you if you're traveling out of the DC-area airports Tuesday.

BWI experienced some of the longest wait times in the country — reportedly at nearly four hours Saturday — but said Monday its "normal, quick and efficient checkpoint operations" had returned.
The airport reported "minimal wait times at each checkpoint Monday," and Tuesday morning the My TSA app showed estimated wait times of zero to 15 minutes.
Travelers are still advised to arrive at the airport two hours before their scheduled departure.
"Thank you to @TSA workers here in Maryland and across the country for showing up day after day, working 12+ hour shifts, and dealing with this crisis forced onto them," Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said on X, also thanking travelers for their patience.
