Tyler Duckworth has died at 44.

His mother announced the news on Facebook.

Duckworth competed on six seasons of MTV’s The Challenge.

Tyler Duckworth, a champion of multiple seasons of The Challenge, has died.

The reality star died at 44, his mother Joni confirmed on social media on Thursday.

“My son, Tyler, passed away earlier this week,” his mother wrote on Facebook. “Cause of death has yet to be determined. I will post on Facebook about services as soon as his dad and I figure it out.”

Duckworth first entered the reality world in 2006 with an appearance on The Real World: Key West. Later that year, he joined The Challenge in its 13th season, The Duel. He returned to The Challenge for five more seasons, ultimately winning Cutthroat in 2010 and Rivals in 2011.

Duckworth’s appeared on 2021’s All Stars 2 after a full decade off the show. “I thought they had maybe lost my number. I was like, ‘Wait, come again? Who is this?’” he told Entertainment Weekly at the time. “I ended up with a great career and everything, but I’m so happy to be back now. And I’m giving you guys a show this season, don’t you worry. I gave it my all. I don’t know if this might be my last rodeo, so I’m going to give you guys a motherf---ing show.”

He returned the following year for All Stars 3, which ended up being his final stint on the series.
