Tristan Thompson celebrated his son Prince’s first day of 4th grade with a sweet Instagram post

Tristan Thompson’s son is heading back to the classroom!

On Wednesday, Aug. 12, the former professional basketball player, 35, shared a series of photos on his Instagram as he celebrated his son Prince, 9, on his first day of 4th grade. In the photos, Thompson wore a pair of black pants and a black T-shirt, putting an arm around his son.

Prince opted for tan sweats and a white T-shirt, smiling as he leaned into his dad. “My best friend’s first day of 4th grade. Man I’m getting old 🤣,” Thompson wrote in his caption.

Thompson shares Prince with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. He shares son Tatum, 4, and daughter True, 8, with ex Khloé Kardashian, and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols.

In April, Thompson appeared on an episode of The Katie Miller podcast and opened up about his co-parenting dynamic. The former professional athlete gave insight into his relationship with each of the mothers of his four children, revealing that they are “all friends” and explaining that they are in a “great place.”

“We’re all friends. We’re all family,” he said. “At the end of the day, we’re all family. We all have each other’s contact info. We’re all in a great place because I think that’s the number one thing.”

“No matter how you chop it up and no matter how you want to put it together, we’re all tied together,” added Thompson. “We’re all family, and our kids are all siblings, and they’re going to be in each other’s lives for a long time.”

Last July, Thompson shared a selfie on his Instagram with his daughter True and True’s cousin Dream Kardashian. The dad of four wore a white hat with a Mickey Mouse logo and a white suit in keeping with the theme for his son Tatum’s 3rd birthday party that happened the same weekend.

True wore a pink shirt with “Disney” written in rainbow rhinestones and a glittery Minnie Mouse in the corner, while Dream could be seen smiling and wearing a pink shirt as well. “Love in their smile ❤️👧🏽,” Thompson wrote in his caption.

Khloé commented on the post, writing, “Such gorgeous little ladies.”
