Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery — and Tracy Morgan said he is a fan of this comedian's impression of him.

Appearing on Sherri, Morgan told host Sherri Shepherd what it's like to watch different people impersonate him. Shepherd noted that he has "one of the most distinct voices ever," which has inspired famous imitations from Tina Fey, Tiffany Haddish, Jordan Peele, and more.

But there's one impersonator that stands above the rest: Eddie Murphy.

"When someone does an impersonation of you, you won," Morgan said. "Somebody like Eddie does you, you won. I'm flattered and I love it."

While the 30 Rock star isn't one for flattery, he said it was an "honor" to have his friend and fellow Saturday Night Live alum Murphy imitate him during SNL50. Both actors appeared on the "Black Jeopardy" sketch for the special, with Morgan playing a character named Darius and Murphy playing Morgan.

"Eddie's my guy," the Cop Out star said. "Me and him talk almost every day on the phone."

Morgan added that one of the highlights of his career happened when the Coming to America actor hosted Saturday Night Live in 2019. He said it was a "moment" to stand on stage with Murphy, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and Kenan Thompson during the monologue.

The Tracy Morgan Show star said that he suffers from imposter syndrome and believes that his friends are "funnier than me." The actor sees this as a positive thing.

"It helps me keep getting better," he said.
