Timothy Simons wants this.
The Nobody Wants This actor, 47, caught up with PEOPLE at the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards on Monday, Jan. 5, when he broke down which guest stars he'd want to see on the forthcoming third season of the Netflix hit.
Simons, who plays Sasha in the series, has a couple names in mind when it comes to potential new faces in the Nobody Wants This universe: Elliott Gould and Mandy Patinkin.
"Elliott Gould would be incredible. Yeah, Elliott Gould and Mandy Patinkin," he says.
Simons adds, "If we could get Mandy Patinkin in there, I feel like he'd fit in pretty well. That would be incredible."

Also on the Critics Choice red carpet, Simons jokingly teased what fans can expect from season 3, including an "entire dance episode" (which he quickly took back).
"There's one episode that is nothing but dance. All I do is dance," he joked. "No, I think you can just look forward to, as the show goes on, the stories of Justine and Jackie and myself, it kind of gets expanded. There's just more time for us to see more of our lives and I enjoy that."
With or without a big dance moment, Nobody Wants This has become a major win for Netflix since its premiere in 2024. One month after sason 2 dropped in October 2025, the show was officially renewed for a third season.
“I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show,” creator Erin Foster previously said of what's to come, per Netflix. “It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I'll do it for as long as they want me to!”
Speaking with PEOPLE last year, Foster also teased a little of the third season, explaining that she would be open to the idea of making her own cameo alongside her sister Sara Foster.
"I always thought that it'd be fun to do that, but I never created a character that I thought was the perfect character," Erin, 43, said at the time.
Season 2 of Nobody Wants This brought Leighton Meester into the mix, as she appeared alongside her real-life husband Adam Brody.
Brody, 46, told PEOPLE at the premiere that the experience gave them a chance to squeeze in some "alone time" as a couple. "Driving to work together and getting a little alone time," was the best part of working with his wife, he said, adding, "It's sort of a date night."
The first two seasons of Nobody Wants This are now streaming on Netflix.
