Shedeur Sanders has opened up about his personal life after being asked whether he currently has a woman in his life, with the Cleveland Browns quarterback giving the perfect response.
Sanders has been in the spotlight for much of his football career, initially as the son of NFL icon Deion Sanders before establishing himself as a star quarterback at Colorado. His performances for the Buffaloes and subsequent move to the Browns have only increased the attention surrounding him.
That scrutiny has also extended beyond the field, with Sanders' dating life regularly attracting interest from fans and becoming a talking point on social media, despite the quarterback rarely addressing his relationships publicly.

Sanders has not publicly confirmed a girlfriend or shared any recent relationship updates. During an appearance on the Legendary podcast, he was asked whether he had a special woman in his life and responded simply: “Yes, I have my mom.” The quarterback has offered little else on the subject since, choosing to keep his romantic life out of the spotlight. There have also been no recent social media posts or public comments from Sanders indicating that he is in a relationship.

Sanders has been linked to several high-profile women over the years, although none of the speculation has resulted in a confirmed relationship. In 2023, he was spotted with model Jasmine Rae, sparking early dating rumors.
Later that year, Sanders attended the Los Angeles premiere of Missing with actress Storm Reid, with the pair photographed together. Reid also spoke positively about Sanders and was seen supporting his college games from the sidelines, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
However, social media later sparked a false claim that Sanders had left Reid for basketball star Angel Reese. Reid quickly dismissed the rumor, calling the story untrue and urging people not to share fabricated headlines.

On the field, Sanders’ NFL career has been anything but straightforward. Once viewed as a potential first-round pick, he suffered a stunning slide down the 2025 NFL Draft before Cleveland eventually selected him 144th overall in the fifth round.
His path to meaningful playing time was also delayed, with Dillon Gabriel opening the 2025 season as Cleveland’s starter following Deshaun Watson’s injury. Sanders eventually got his opportunity after Gabriel suffered a concussion against the Baltimore Ravens.
Sanders went on to play eight games, including seven starts, throwing for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns. However, his 10 interceptions raised questions over whether he could establish himself as Cleveland’s QB1 heading into 2026.
That has left Sanders competing with Watson for the starting role. Todd Monken has yet to name his preferred quarterback for the season, although Watson has been confirmed as the starter for Cleveland’s first preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
