A new week of Days of Our Lives promises heightened danger and family conflict, according to a newly released preview teasing experiments, a possible bioterror threat and escalating DiMera drama.
The official Days of Our Lives YouTube channel released its weekly preview for the episodes airing the week of December 15, 2025.
The promo opened up with Mark (Jonah Robinson), inside of E.J,’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) lab at the Dr. Tom Horton Free Clinic, conducting an experiment, as Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) exclaims “Open up, FBI.”
Inside the hospital, the preview shows Chanel (Raven Bowens) visiting Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), and asking a pointed questions, “So, what are they?”
Elsewhere in Salem, Brady (Eric Martsolf) reveals to Xander (Paul Telfer) that he is living at the Kirakis estate, while at his apartment Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) opens up a mysterious letter and releases a white powdery substance. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is heard saying, “We need to get out of here right away.”
As the thread spreads, characters across Salem react with alarm, viewers see Javi (Al Calderon) testing Alex, with Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Jada (Elia Cantu) are shown responding to what appears to be a potentially dangerous situation.
Meanwhile, in the DiMera family crypt, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), EJ and Chad (Billy Flynn) argue and fight, while Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) discovers an unexpected visitor passed out.

One user believes they know who is the hooded figure at the end, sharing, “Has to be Peter Blake DiMera at the end of the promo.”
A second user believes they know who is behind everything, adding, “I believe Dr. Wilhelm Rolf is behind the abduction of the DiMera family. He may have a partner or two, but it is my opinion that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf is heavily involved with all of it. Rolf wants a DiMera uprising and he won't stop pushing for it until he's made to stop. It's just feeling. I'm ready to see where this leads.”
