“Off Campus ”season 2 adds Shay Rudolph as Summer Di Laurentis

Off Campus has added Shay Rudolph to its cast for its second season.

Rudolph will play Summer Di Laurentis, little sister to Dean.

The second season is set to adapt the third book in Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus series, titled The Score.

Dean (Stephen Kalyn) better get ready, because his little sister is coming to Briar.

Off Campus officially announced the addition of Shay Rudolph to its second season cast, with Rudolph set to guest-star as none other than Summer Di Laurentis, a.k.a. Dean’s little sister.

The news won’t come as a surprise to fans of Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus book series, which the show adapts for the screen. While season 1 focused on the first book, The Deal, and followed the love story of Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) — with pieces of Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean’s love story thrown in — season 2 will focus on the third book in the series, The Score.

The Score puts Allie and Dean front and center. And from what we know of the show also adding India Fowler as Grace, it’s safe to bet we’ll start getting to see some of her love story with John Logan (Antonio Cipriano).

But back to Allie and Dean. As book fans know, Summer is a big fan of her older bro, but she’s not always predictable. As Dean describes her in the book, “Summer is two years younger than me, but she gives me a run for my money when it comes to grabbing life by the horns and seizing the day and all that crap.” And let’s just say her school doesn’t always love the way she approaches life.

The series announced Rudolph’s addition on Instagram with Kalyn and Rudolph wearing matching outfits. So perhaps the person who really needs to get ready is Allie.

Off Campus has not yet announced a premiere date for its second season, which is currently in production.
