Martha Stewart Reveals Her Ideal Man Checklist, Including Wealth and Yacht Preference

Lifestyle mega-mogul Martha Stewart, 84, has never been one to beat around the bush about what she likes or doesn't like. She made many things very clear in her candid, unapologetic 2024 Netflix documentary—from how to choose the right knife to cut oranges and how she approached her early marriage to ex-husband Andrew Stewart to what she expected from boyfriends after that. Currently, Martha says she's a single woman, but she's not shy if you ask her what makes the perfect man.

Stewart recently shared her checklist for the ideal man in an interview with People. She didn't call it a checklist exactly. We're just calling it a checklist because we've been paying to attention to the queen of organization all these years. After all, Martha Stewart teaches us to have a checklist for everything—and it's a lifesaver!

The desired traits Martha Stewart says she likes in her ideal man include the following:

Looks: "Nice-looking"

Hairline: "Bald or not bald—I don't care. If they have a nice-shaped head ..."

Smile: "Nice teeth and a nice smile"

Intelligence: "Smart"

Sense of humor: "Funny"

Wealth: "Rich helps"

Plane: "Very nice"

Yacht: "I love yachts"

This is a very spectacular checklist.

It's funny. Some might guess that money and wealth wouldn't matter as much when you're a self-made, lifestyle entrepreneur and already a millionaire in your own right, but it does. I mean, what badass, self-supporting single woman in her 80s (or any age really!) is ready to start taking care of some unmotivated dude who sits around on the couch playing video games all day. Not Martha, people, definitely not Martha.

Martha Stewart is currently starring in the spring campaign for the denim brand Mother, and, in early March, she opened her second restaurant, the Bedford by Martha Stewart at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.
