Kiefer Sutherland has reportedly been arrested following an altercation with a ride share driver on Monday, Jan. 12.

According to NBC4 Los Angeles, who spoke with the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a radio call just after midnight about an alleged assault involving a ride share driver near Hollywood.

The 59-year-old actor is accused of assaulting the driver after entering the car, and he was arrested on suspicion of felony criminal threats. No injuries requiring medical treatment were reported.

Online jail records indicate Sutherland was released from custody on a $50,000 bond on Monday, and he has a court date set for Feb. 2 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The actor was previously sentenced to 48 days in jail back in 2007 following a DUI arrest.

Sutherland is best known for winning both an Emmy and Golden Globe award for his role as Jack Bauer in the series 24, which ran from 2001-2010. His other TV and film credits include Designated Survivor, Stand by Me, The Lost Boys, Flatliners and A Few Good Men.

Sutherland's representative did not immediately respond to Parade's request for comment.
