For Henry Winkler, age is nothing but a number, especially when it comes to his dance moves.

The Happy Days alum, 80, thrilled fans when he bopped down the spirit tunnel at The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday, January 12.

“We’re so happy @hwinkler4real is back!” the talk show’s official Instagram account captioned a video of the joy-filled moment.

In the clip, staffers from The Jennifer Hudson Show lined a hallway backstage to cheer on Winkler as he made his way to his interview with the host, 44.

“Henry’s here / We’re so happy that he’s back this year / We just love him at the ‘Happy Place’ / And it’s just so good to see his face / It’s a great day / Oh, Henry Winkler here at J-Hud,” the excited staff members sang to the tune of Billy Joel’s 1983 hit “Uptown Girl.”

Meanwhile, Winkler was all smiles as he broke out some fancy footwork, shimmied his shoulders and spun around. At the end of the tunnel, he turned around a blew a kiss to the staffers, waved and told them, “I’m glad to be here.”

In the comments section of the Instagram post, fans expressed their astonishment over Winkler’s dance skills given his age.

“At 80 he still can move. Get it, Mr. Winkler,” one person replied, while another wrote, “And this is what 80 looks like!!”

A third Instagram user chimed in, “Oh, my gosh, he moves so well.”

Some fans remarked that it seemed like no time had passed at all since Winkler’s iconic role as Fonzie on Happy Days from 1974 to 1984.

“Man still look the same as Happy Days just gray,” one person commented, as another added, “The Fonz still got it!”

Others noted that Winkler is “still the coolest” and his “energy is unmatched.”

Weeks before his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Winkler explained why he has no plans to retire anytime soon.

“I’m very grateful,” he said during a December 2025 episode of the “IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson” podcast. “You know, people keep asking me am I gonna retire? Or ‘Have you retired?’ And I think that is, like, the furthest thing from my imagination. I will retire when I am not able to do, again, more. You know, I just, I think that it is deadly.”

Winkler also offered a glimpse into his morning routine in his golden years.

“I deserve new knees,” he joked. “I get out of bed, and I go make a cup of coffee. And then I have to go back to bed and invite my knees to come with me. You know, they’re still lounging.”
