Watch Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) duke it out once again on 'Daredevil: Born Again' season 2.
"It's a really complicated relationship," Cox told EW of the character dynamic.
"Wilson's character this season is very confronting to Matt."
The Daredevil and Bullseye rematch that Marvel fans have been clamoring for is about to commence.
Entertainment Weekly's exclusive sneak peek at Daredevil: Born Again season 2, episode 4, titled "Gloves Off" (premiering Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET on Disney+), reveals a slugfest between the two. The man who can't miss (Wilson Bethel) faces the Man Without Fear (Charlie Cox) armed with a CD from his handheld player.
But when it comes to Benjamin Leonard Poindexter, a CD is far more deadly in his hands than a gun in anyone else's.
Solvan “Slick” Naim, who helmed episodes of The Equalizer, Power, and Snowfall, directed episode 4. He also directed the third episode of season 2, "The Scales & the Sword."

"It's a really complicated relationship," Cox previously told EW of the Daredevil-Bullseye dynamic. After all, Dex was the one who killed Matt Murdock's best friend and business partner, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), as depicted the Daredevil: Born Again season 1 premiere — even if the whole thing was orchestrated by Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer).
"Wilson's character this season is very confronting to Matt, who he is and what he represents and what he seems to be trying to do makes it much, much harder for Matt to out-and-out loathe him and hate him," Cox continued.

He credited showrunner Dario Scardapane and his team of writers "for making the Bullseye character go down a path that is so unexpected," adding, "it leads to some very, I think, interesting conversations and very unexpected revelations about both of those people."

The season 2 premiere left viewers with a big Bullseye cliffhanger, signaling the character's return with a special "You're Welcome" throwing knife. Dex largely sat out the events of season 1, but he's back at the forefront amid Daredevil's resistance efforts against Mayor Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).
The Daredevil-Bullseye dynamic is bound to get more complicated. Henson is confirmed to return as Foggy in some capacity this season, though the cast and creators declined to address exactly how at the risk of slipping spoilers.
New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 arrive on Disney+ Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET. The finale is scheduled for May 5, followed by the release of the Jon Bernthal-led Punisher streaming special on May 12.
