Ray Stevens, the two-time Grammy winner and comedian, is recovering after suffering a fall.

The Country Music Hall of Famer fell in Nashville on Sunday, March 29, which resulted in a broken neck, according to a press release shared with **. Stevens was briefly hospitalized and is now recovering at home.

"Doctors have advised Stevens to wear a neck brace for approximately four weeks. Despite the injury, he remains fully mobile and in good spirits as he continues his recovery," the press release noted.

The country singer recovered from a mild heart attack and surgery last July, which resulted in his hospitalization and, later, minimally invasive heart surgery at a Nashville hospital.

Despite his recent injury, Stevens' upcoming album, *Favorites Old & New* will still be released this Friday, April 10* *via Curb Records.

On March 30, he took to social media to promote what will be a 13-track collection featuring classics including “The Look of Love,” “It Had To Be You,” and “Come Rain or Come Shine," plus new selections including “I Guess You’ve Never Been in Love With the Moon,” “Moving Out is Easier Than Moving On,” and “Time Machine."

"I had a lot of fun creating this album,” Stevens shared in the press release.

"It really does contain a few of my favorite old songs as well as favorite new ones penned by some talented writers. I just hope Ray Stevens fans enjoy it as much as Ray Stevens!"
