She thanked Jones for "doing the most beautiful job continuing to bring his dreams to life"

Brandon Blackstock’s daughter Savannah is honoring her late dad’s legacy — and offering a special shoutout to his partner Brittney Jones.
Blackstock founded the Headwaters Livestock Auction at Valley View Rodeo in Montana just two years before he died in August at age 48, and the rodeo hosted a holiday event on Dec. 6.
In a post shared to her Instagram Stories on Dec. 7, Savannah, 23, celebrated the event’s success, and praised Jones — the managing director of Valley View — for carrying on Blackstock’s legacy.
“All my dad wanted to do was bring the community together, and @brittneymariej is doing the most beautiful job continuing to bring his dreams to life,” she wrote. “I’m heartbroken I wasn’t there to witness this in person, but I know it was magical and made my dad so proud of his team. ❤️🎄.”

Jones was identified as the talent manager’s “beautiful and loving partner in life and business” in his obituary, which said the couple “started building a life, building companies, and working tirelessly to create Headwaters Livestock Auction and what will live on as his legacy, The Valley View Rodeo in Bozeman, Montana.”
Jones recently posted a message to a web page sharing details of the Dec. 6 Christmas event, and wrote that Blackstock — who was previously married to Kelly Clarkson — had died after a “courageous battle with cancer.”
“It’s an unimaginable loss to all that knew him,” she wrote. “We appreciate those of you who have called, sent condolences, and donated to the MSGA Brandon Blackstock Memorial Fund intended to be granted to youth in agriculture.”

She continued, “Brandon, and the team he trusted, have worked tirelessly over the last two years to make Headwaters Livestock Auction the best it can be and that doesn’t end now. Our team here at Headwaters Livestock Auction is fully prepared to facilitate a strong fall run for all our local producers, just as Brandon would have wanted us to.”
Blackstock’s family announced his death on Aug. 7, saying in a statement shared with PEOPLE that he’d “bravely battled cancer for more than three years.”
In October, his former stepmother Reba McEntire — who was previously married to Blackstock’s dad Narvel — opened up to PEOPLE about his loss, saying their relationship was “precious.”
“I absolutely loved that child. He came into my life, I guess he was 4 years old. Then when Narvel and I got married, he was 13, 14,” he said. “Along with his mom and dad, I helped raise him, along with [his siblings] Shawna and Chassidy. They were my kids.”
The Happy’s Place star added that Blackstock was “so funny” and was a huge fan of pulling pranks.
“Brandon is sorely missed, truly missed with his mischievousness and his love of life,” she said. “He brought joy to everybody that met him, and we’ll never forget him.”
