Bill Murray was all smiles after watching his son Luke and the UConn Huskies advance to the Final Four.The University of Connecticut, where Luke has served as an assistant coach under Dan Hurley for five seasons, defeated the Duke Blue Devils in a wild finish in the Elite Eight matchup on Sunday, March 29, and the Ghostbusters star, 75, was right in the middle of the action.Bill, a longtime supporter of the Huskies, was spotted at Capital One Arena sporting a UConn hat.
After the Huskies' win, the actor celebrated with his son and members of the UConn team, and even exchanged high-fives with the Huskies band, as seen in a video shared by Yahoo Sports' Ross Dellenger.In another video, shared by DC News Now reporter Alex Flum, Bill and Luke were seen exchanging a congratulatory hug on the court in the moments after the win.

Luke and UConn are headed to Indianapolis for the Final Four, but it will be his final run with the Huskies.

Murray was hired as head coach at Boston College, the school announced on March 26 in a statement, calling the veteran assistant coach a leader with a "sophisticated offensive vision."

Over the years, Bill has frequently shared his pride about his son's basketball career.In a 2014 television interview, the Lost in Translation actor said that Luke "can pay his own bills and everything.""Who wouldn't be proud of their son in a tie?" Murray joked.The actor added that Luke found his passion for basketball because their family loved the sport."We all played basketball and we were Bulls fans, and he got to like Michael Jordan," said Bill at the time.
