The legendary performer, who recently had to postpone a series of concerts after an unexpected cancer diagnosis, shared a snapshot of himself in his hospital bed earlier this month, telling fans that he was feeling "better today," presumably after undergoing surgery to remove the lesion doctors had discovered in his lung following a lengthy battle with stubborn bronchitis.
Now, he's "so great," he's padding up his tour dates when he returns to the road at the end of February, and fans were thrilled to hear the "wonderful" news.

"Years from now, when you look back on these dates, you’ll want to know you were there to say goodbye," his team added, referencing the fact that these are some of "The Last Concerts" Manilow will ever play.

While He May Be Dialing Back on His Career, Manilow Is Still on the Up and Up
While Manilow hasn't given any further updates about the status of his health, he did anticipate prior to surgery that the procedure was going to be a one and done deal. "The doctors do not believe it has spread and I’m taking tests to confirm their diagnosis," he shared. "So, that’s it. No chemo. No radiation. Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns.”
He may be 82 and on the verge of retirement, but fans say Manilow still puts on the "best concert ever," dubbing him a "true superstar" after seeing glimpses of him wrapping up his illustrious career with one final tour.
Things kick off again on Feb. 27, in Tampa, Fla., and are currently scheduled to wrap up on April 29 in Georgia, followed by a few June dates in the U.K. However, his Las Vegas residency is still selling tickets through the end of the year.
