Everyone needs a little time off every now and then — and for some celebrities, that means a luxurious getaway.
Throughout the years, Hollywood's most famous families have gone on lavish vacations to the Maldives, Bora Bora, the Amalfi Coast and more.
In 2025, the Kardashians took many highly publicized, luxurious vacations, including the time Kylie Jennerjetted off to Greece with her kids. However, the Kardashians aren't the only ones who know how to do it big.
Several more stars have shared snapshots of their extravagant family vacations across the globe, from Jenna Bush Hager taking her kids to Rome to John Legend and Chrissy Teigen bringing their children to the Maldives.
Below, here are eight photos of celebrity families who went on lavish getaways.

If there's any family that knows how to do it big, it's the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
For Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday in October 2020, she flew her friends and her family out to a private island in French Polynesia.
"We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more," she said of the outing on Instagram. "I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is."
The trip received backlash because it came during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her sister, Khloé Kardashian, addressed the critiques during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show later that month, emphasizing that they put health precautions in place before the group traveled.

In early 2021, Legend and Teigen took their kids, as well as Teigen's mom, Vilailuck "Pepper" Teigen, on a trip to the Maldives.
PEOPLE confirmed that the famous family stayed at the exclusive Soneva Jani Resort, which is the same place that Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchukwent on their honeymoon. In order to get to the resort, guests have to take a 45-minute seaplane trip, a 60-minute speedboat ride or a half-day cruise.
Teigen shared several photos from the trip on Instagram, including one picture of Legend holding their two oldest kids, Luna and Miles, in the crystal blue pool. (Their two youngest children were not born yet.)

The Beckhams know how to vacation in style. In the summer of 2025, they went on a lavish getaway to Saint-Tropez, France.
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham were spotted catching some sun on a yacht while their youngest son, Cruz Beckham, enjoyed the ship with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, and Victoria's close friend Eva Longoria.

Jennifer Lopez went all out for her twins Max and Emme's 16th birthday in February 2024. The On The Floor singer took them to Japan, where they were pictured wearing kimonos, visiting a museum and dining out at fancy restaurants.
In a video montage of their trip that Lopez shared on Instagram, she is heard behind the camera saying she's "never seen Max so excited."

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez also went on a lavish vacation to Japan with their blended family.
In April 2024, Sánchez shared photos of her and Bezos on a spring break trip there with her three kids, Nikko, Evan and Ella. (She shares Nikko with her ex Tony Gonzalez, and Evan and Ella with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.)
While in Japan, the family looked at cheery blossom trees, visited Tokyo Tower and also spent some time at the gym.
“Japan, you’ve stolen our hearts 🌸. Those early morning walks under cherry blossoms, exploring ancient temples, and yes, the best sushi on a conveyor belt ever. It felt like living a dream we never wanted to wake up from," Sánchez captioned a since-deleted Instagram post from the trip.
“Thank you, Japan, for the memories, the most beautiful sunrises, and those inside jokes 🌀🤍 〰️that’ll stick with us forever. We’re already dreaming of coming back,” she added.

Beyoncé celebrated her 42nd birthday in style! In honor of the milestone, she recharged while she was on her Renaissance World Tour by taking a trip to the Brando Resort in French Polynesia with her family, including husband Jay-Z and kids Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir.
An insider told PEOPLE that the singer and her family “rented several private villas” for the trip and spent quality time together.
“They enjoyed the beach, had family dinners and engaged in several resort activities," the source added. "Everyone had the best time."

In 2025, Kate Hudson enjoyed a European summer. In July of that year, she went on a lavish family vacation to Greece with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, her three kids — Ryder, Bingham and Rani — and her siblings.
Not only did Hudson post a cute photo of Bingham laying on the beach with his cousins, but she also shared a sweet snapshot of her kissing a shirtless Fujikawa outside.
“Family summer 🇬🇷 We love you Greece,” she wrote on Instagram.

In August 2025, Bush Hager went on an Italian family vacation to Rome with her husband, Henry Chase Hager, and their three kids, Mila, Poppy and Hal.
The family of five visited a number of historical sites, from Roman basilicas to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, even sampling authentic Italian gelato.
"We ❤️ Roma! We will miss our home outside of Rome! @romecavalieri," Jenna wrote on Instagram.
