Jack White is not putting up with President Donald Trump's comments about the death of Rob Reiner.

After the prolific director and his wife Michele were murdered in their Los Angeles home, Trump took to social media to address the tragic news, but his highly-controversial post is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way—and White is one of them.

The musician, known for fronting the '2000s garage rock band The White Stripes, was among those who were outraged by Trump's post on Monday, Dec. 15, prompting White to publicly condemn the "vile" message about Reiner's death.

In an Instagram post addressed to the president, White wrote, "Trump you disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child," while sharing a screenshot of Trump's message.

In his address of Reiner's death, Trump described the renowned director as a "a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star" who died "reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS."

"He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before," Trump continued, before concluding, "May Rob and Michele rest in peace."

While calling out Trump's controversial message, White, 50, wrote, "Neither [Trump] nor any one of his followers can defend this gross, horrible insult to a beautiful artist who gave the world so much," White continued. "To use someone's tragic death to promote your own vanity and fascist authoritarian agenda is a corrupt and narcissistic sin."

"Shame on you trump and anyone who defends this. God bless you Rob Reiner and thank you for what you gave the world," he added, while concluding, "I never even met you and I still stand by you. -jack white III."

A number of celebrities appeared to agree with White's condemnation of Trump's post, as other stars who "liked" White's post included Melissa Gilbert, Adam Scott and Josh Groban.
